Enhance your eyes with a lash lift

Our client’s case: lashes that were too flat

For this example, our client felt her lashes were too flat. A lash lift works on the base of the lashes to give them a more curled and slightly fuller look. It’s a technique that enhances and opens up the eyes, even better than an eyelash curler.

The treatment, step by step

1. Preparation: we examine the lash area, then gently cleanse it.
2. Positioning: the lashes are placed on a silicone pad.
3. Shaping: we use a glue and a perming lotion that acts on the lashes to curl them.
4. Care: we add a nourishing, moisturising lotion to keep the lashes healthy.
5. Finishing touches: we remove any glue left on the lashes for a flawless result.

A lash lift lasts for about 6 weeks. For this treatment we use the premium-quality Mrs Lash Lift Pro range, and our lash lift is done with vegan keratin.

How do you get the perfect lash lift?

Before talking about technique, it’s important to choose premium-quality products for a truly remarkable result.

I strongly recommend choosing an experienced beautician who can show you a wide range of examples of lash lifts she has carried out herself (beware of generic photos bought online).

Most of my clients hope for long, thick lashes: I advise them on solutions better suited to their face and features. That’s how the result becomes so striking.

Lash lift, mascara or extensions: what’s the difference?

To show off your lashes, you can choose between a simple option, such as mascara, and a longer-lasting one, such as a lash lift. Unlike mascara and lash extensions, a lash lift gives your lashes a natural look while emphasising your eyes. Being semi-permanent, it also lasts longer than either of those two techniques.

Completing your lash lift: tint and browlift

A lash lift can be combined with a lash tint: your lashes look darker and fuller, without make-up. To balance your whole look, the browlift (brow lamination) tames and reshapes the brows for a natural effect lasting about 6 weeks.
