Privacy policy

This policy has been drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on data protection (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data. It applies only to data collected by the sambeauty.be website.

The data controller is Eden Créative Studio, the company that owns the sambeauty.be website and the Sam Beauty brand.

When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you enter: name, email address, phone number and message.

Purpose: to respond to your enquiry (information, appointment, quote). Legal basis: your request, i.e. pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in responding to the messages we receive. Retention period: as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, then no more than 3 years after our last exchange.

The website uses Google Tag Manager to load audience measurement tools (Google Analytics) and advertising campaign measurement tools (Google Ads). These tools set cookies that tell us how many people visit the website, which pages are viewed and how effective our ads are (for example clicks to book, call or message us on WhatsApp).

These cookies are set only with your consent, which is collected via the banner displayed on your first visit. You can accept, refuse or change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page. Refusing these cookies does not prevent you from using the website.

The website also uses strictly necessary storage to remember your cookie choice; this does not require consent.

Retention period: analytics cookies have a maximum lifespan of 13 months; statistical data is kept in Google Analytics for the period configured in the tool.

Online appointments are booked on the Treatwell platform. When you click a booking button, you leave sambeauty.be: the data you provide when booking is processed by Treatwell under its own privacy policy, which we invite you to read on treatwell.be.

Online payment, in full or in 3 instalments, is provided by our partner Floa. You enter your bank details directly on its secure pages: we never have access to them. We only receive the information needed to follow up the payment (for example your name, your email address and the amount paid).

Floa processes your data under its own privacy policy, which we invite you to read on its website. Payment data is kept for the period required by our accounting and tax obligations.

If you contact us by phone or via WhatsApp, we use your number and your messages solely to reply to you and to manage your appointment. WhatsApp messages pass through Meta’s service, which is subject to its own privacy policy.

Your data is never sold. It is accessible only to the Sam Beauty team and to strictly necessary technical service providers: our hosting provider o2switch (France, European Union), Google (audience measurement, with your consent), Floa (payment) and Treatwell (booking). Where any of these providers transfer data outside the European Union, such transfers are subject to the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• right of access and rectification;
• right to erasure;
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to object;
• right to data portability;
• right to withdraw your consent at any time (cookies), without affecting processing already carried out.

The website is accessible only via a secure connection (HTTPS). We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.
